"Lowest price" is a hard claim for any single company to prove — prices shift constantly across the industry, and there's no independent, real-time index tracking every seller. What's genuinely useful instead is understanding exactly what drives lab-grown diamond pricing, so you can tell a fair price from an inflated one wherever you're buying.
The four things that actually set the price
1. The 4Cs of the diamond itself
Cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight are the core price drivers, with carat weight having a non-linear effect — a 1 carat stone costs more than double a 0.5 carat stone of equal quality, because larger rough diamonds (even lab-grown) are rarer to produce cleanly.
2. The metal
9K gold (37.5% pure) costs less than 14K (58.5%), which costs less than 18K (75%), which costs less than 950 platinum — purely based on the market price and density of the metal itself, independent of the diamond.
3. Manufacturing and supply chain
This is where lab-grown diamonds create their biggest structural price advantage over mined diamonds: a shorter supply chain (no mining, no years-long extraction, fewer intermediaries) means lab-grown diamonds typically cost 50–70% less than a mined diamond of comparable quality. A company manufacturing and exporting directly, rather than buying through multiple layers of distributors, can generally offer more competitive pricing on this basis alone.
4. Certification and after-sales service
Genuine IGI or GLI certification, proper BIS hallmarking, and a real return policy all add legitimate cost to a company's operations — and cutting these corners is exactly how some sellers advertise unrealistically low prices. A price that seems too good to be true, on an uncertified stone or ungraded gold, usually is.
What this means for you as a buyer
Rather than chasing a "lowest price" claim, compare like-for-like: same carat, same colour/clarity range, same metal purity, same certification lab, across a few sellers. That's the only fair price comparison, and it'll tell you far more than any single company's marketing claim.
Inasha Diamonds manufactures and exports directly as Diamondberry Private Limited, which lets us keep pricing transparent without layers of distributor markup. You can see this reflected in real terms — certified lab-grown diamond rings starting from roughly ₹29,000, with full IGI/GLI certification and BIS Hallmarked gold at every price point.
